The touch screen sensor glass and the TFT LCD are two separate components that communicate with each other through the host computer.
In most cases, the standard process involves the customer purchasing the touch glass and the panel as individual items and completing the integration in-house.
Integrating touch screens in-house can present several challenges. At FORTEC Egypt, we eliminate these risks by handling the entire process in our dedicated clean room facility.
We take ownership of any damage during assembly
We take ownership of the positioning
We have the correct equipment
Without the proper equipment or machinery, there is a significant risk of contamination in the gap between the touch sensor and the TFT LCD.
FORTEC Egypt prevents this by using flow cabinets and a clean room facility to maintain a dust- and particle-free assembly environment.
Easier after-sales support
If a warranty issue arises with a key component, most suppliers require the unit to be disassembled before it can be returned under an RMA.
At FORTEC Egypt, we deliver the unit as one fully assembled product. If a failure occurs, we take back the entire unit and handle the repair or replacement under warranty—making the process simpler and more efficient for our customers.
Strip Bonding
In this method, strips of double-sided gasket are applied to the bezel of the display, creating a secure frame. The touch screen is then precisely aligned and positioned onto the display, resulting in a final assembly that is easy for the customer to integrate.
Depending on the application and budget, we offer two gasket options. For standard requirements, we use roll gasket applied in straight strips with joined corners. For high-end applications, we provide die-cut double-sided sheet gaskets, delivering a seamless, clean-edged border.
