Headquartered in Germering near Munich, the FORTEC Group operates on a global scale with seven subsidiaries across five countries. This international footprint enables us to deliver high-quality consulting services and responsive on-site support tailored to our customers’ needs.

With an annual turnover exceeding €95 million, we combine the strength and reliability of a broadline supplier with the agility and deep expertise of a specialist.

Our dedicated Research & Development departments in Germany and Egypt continuously drive innovation, while our engineering teams operate across four advanced production facilities. This setup empowers us to deliver tailored solutions across the entire value chain—from integrating touchscreens into TFT displays to producing fully assembled monitors.

OUR HISTORY

1993 | Data Display GmbH is founded.

1995 | Distec GmbH becomes a subsidiary of Data Display GmbH.

2001 | The company network expands through Apollo Display Technologies Corp., USA.

2006 | Portfolio extended to include monitors through Data Display Solution GmbH, Eisenach

2007 | Growth of the company network with the integration of Display Technology Ltd, UK

2008 | Data Display GmbH assumes the role of holding company for the Data Display Group.

2013 | Distec takes over the operational business of Data Display Solution

2015 | FORTEC Elektronik AG acquires 50% of the Data Display Group, including Distec GmbH

2017 | FORTEC Elektronik acquires the remaining 50% of the Data Display Group, gaining full ownership of Distec GmbH

2024 | Launch of subsidiary FORTEC Egypt and rebranding of Distec GmbH to FORTEC Integrated
